As a trained psychiatrist, I offer consultations, telephonic guidance, video sessions as well as online self-help and mindfulness modules for individuals and groups (including schools and corporates). The process is engaging and enriching, and makes you think in ways you might not have been accustomed to before. You live once, and I hope to help you live right by reconnecting with yourself.

Psychological support is empowering, whether you have a psychiatric diagnosis or not. Many people believe that being sad or upset is a part of life and we don’t need to see a psychiatrist for it. It’s true that these problems happen to everyone, but that doesn’t mean it’s wrong to make it better. Life is more than simply not being depressed or anxious. We all deserve to be the happiest, most dynamic and best version of ourselves. Psychological therapies (all scientific and evidence based) can improve everybody’s style of thinking, emoting and behaving if used rightly.
Because, How You Feel Matters…
Whether you feel happy or sad, content or frustrated, motivated or bored; remember that it’s OK to feel the way you do. Being emotional is human. In fact not having emotions is abnormal. But, working yourself up for being worked up is not helpful. Being mindful of your emotional problems is the first step towards solving them. When you identify what you feel and why you feel so, you are in a stronger position to make it better. You don’t heal if you continually ignore how you feel. How you feel, matters. Now is a good time to do something about it.

I’m trained as a psychiatrist, but I augment clinical practice extensively with mindfulness and cognitive techniques like CBT, REBT, DBT and ACT . I work with individuals, couples as well as groups (including small and large corporates and schools) and take on diverse roles of a doctor, therapist, mentor, guide, coach. trainer, author, blogger, creator, and more. MindFrames is an initiative I conceived in 2004 to make psychological wellness available, accessible and approachable. Self-awareness is an answer to many of life’s emotional woes. It is also key to professional and personal success. Powered by empathy, a strong evidence base, and unconditional respect for patients and clients, I aim to promote positive and meaningful living and prevent psychological and emotional distress.
